    The signal keeps getting stronger.

Every week we add sources and markets, so more projects surface earlier in their lifecycle. Earlier detection means one thing for you: more lead time.

    How it works

From first signal to your inbox in minutes.

    01 · DETECT

    The system listens everywhere

Our AI scans trade announcements, permit and incentive filings, casting notices, and production company registrations across 140+ markets — around the clock.

    02 · VERIFY

    Every signal gets confirmed

Detections are cross-referenced and classified by stage — development, pre-production, or casting — so you act on confirmed projects, not rumors.

    03 · ALERT

    You move first

A structured alert hits your inbox minutes after confirmation: what it is, where it’s landing, what stage it’s in. You reach out while everyone else waits for a posting.

    From the field

    The ones who moved first.

I emailed the UPM the morning a feature hit my inbox. Two weeks later I was on the crew list — the job was never publicly posted.

We rent lighting packages. Hearing about a series in development means we’re quoting before our competitors know the show exists.

I’m still breaking in, and this is the only level playing field I’ve found. I find out what’s coming the same day the insiders do.

    FAQ

    Questions, answered.

    Is it free?
Yes. Email alerts are free for industry professionals, supported by the Film & Television Industry Alliance. We may add paid tiers with deeper detail later — the core alert stays free.
    How fast are the alerts?
Alerts go out within minutes of a confirmed detection. For most projects that’s days or weeks before any public job posting — your head start depends on how early in development a project surfaces, and we’re built to catch it at the first signal.
Where does the data come from?
Public and industry sources: state and city film offices, permit and incentive filings, production company registrations, casting and crew notices, and trade announcements. Our AI cross-references them so a single weak signal becomes a confirmed detection — and noise gets filtered out.
How is this different from the trades?
The trades are journalism — stories written once a project is already news. ProductionAlerts is detection: structured signals surfaced the moment a project enters the pipeline, including the hundreds of smaller productions the trades never cover. We tell you it exists; the story comes later.
Will you spam me or sell my email?
No. You’ll receive production alerts and the occasional service update — nothing else. Every email has one-click unsubscribe, and we never sell or share your address. Details in our Privacy Policy.
    What is ProductionList?
Alerts tell you a production exists. ProductionList — a membership we’re building now — goes deeper: verified contacts, who’s attached, and crew and vendor needs for each detected project. Free-alert subscribers get first access and founding pricing when it opens.
